A freaking unicorn carriage ride.
Ruby spent her fourth birthday in the most magical way possible...with a unicorn carriage ride! When Ruby’s parents asked her what she wanted for her fourth birthday, she said, “A unicorn!”. Love that for her. Her parents, Michele and Dean, are so insanely awesome because they were able to make this dream come true for her. They hired some local friends out in Norco, Wilcox Busy Buggy Carriage Company, to come out and bring Sugar, the unicorn, to meet little Ruby for her magical day. The best part about all of this was that Ruby had no idea that this was going to happen. It was all a surprise!
Hidden Valley Wildlife Area
We decided that we'd meet at Hidden Valley Wildlife Area out in Riverside. There are plenty of trails and hills that make for the best photos. You can shoot throughout the hills you see as you drive up or you can drive about a mile in and find yourself with even more beautiful scenery. There are so many spots to pick from!
Ruby is a gem!
Ruby is one of the sweetest gems I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She's so soft spoken, polite, and she's such a little model! She knows all her poses so well which makes my job a thousand times easier. I'm sure we can thank mama Michele for this! ;) I mean just look at her, she's absolutely precious.
A stroll around town.
I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to share beautiful moments with my clients like these. I love what I do! I got to be a part of Ruby's magical birthday AND I got to take a stroll on a carriage. I mean, it doesn't get any better than that. I had never even been on a carriage ride before this!
Dean twirled little Ruby like the princess that she is! She got the chance to show off her pink princess dress!

As our coachman took us on a ride around the Hidden Valley Wildlife Park Area, I decided to get some shots of this beautiful family! All of their outfits coordinated so perfectly and made for the perfect mini family session.
